I’ve finished up the first, am currently roadie running through the second, and plan to take on both Gears Of War 3 and Gears Of War: Judgement (the dark horse of the franchise, I’m told) before ‘Broketober’ – as it’s now widely known – officially arrives.

So Gears Of War is pretty good then, isn’t it? Sorry if that “hot” take sounds a little cold for 2017 (11 years too cold, to be precise), but I’ve only just got round to working my way through Epic Games’ seminal war series over the summer.
